Letter from the Recruitment Chair
My name is Morgan Hoover, and I am Sigma Sigma Sigma’s Membership Recruitment Director. I am so happy that you are considering becoming a part of Greek life here at Moravian College. I am looking forward to guiding you through the process. Greek life will give you amazing opportunities, experiences, and unforgettable memories.
This spring will be the two year anniversary of when my life changed for the better, and I gained about 50 beautiful sisters. When I joined Sigma, I knew that I would make some fun memories and participate in community service, but little did I know that it would completely change my life for the better. I have blossomed into a confident woman, and I can thank this group of dedicated, hard-working, and caring girls for that. The love in our sisterhood is truly unconditional, and I have learned what real friendship means. However, not only did I gain friendships through joining Greek life, I also had the opportunity to become more involved. With many of our sisters being a part of varsity sports, academic programs, and different organizations, it makes it easy to branch out.
Some of the most fulfilling experiences so far during my time in Sigma have been those relating to our philanthropy, Sigma Serves Children. The Robbie Page Memorial Fund and March of Dimes give us the opportunity to volunteer and help in any way possible to support children in hospitals and premature babies.
I know the recruitment process can be intimidating, but always remember to stay true to yourself and you will find where you belong. Trust the process and trust your gut! I wish you the best of luck and hope you find your way home, just like I did with Sigma.
