Letter from the Recruitment Chair

Hi girls!

My name is Brenna Haddad and I'm Sigma Sigma Sigma's Membership Recruitment Director. I am so happy that you are looking into becoming a part of Greek life here at Moravian College! Greek life gives you amazing opportunities and experiences that you would not have otherwise experienced. One of the reasons that this opportunity is so different is because the individuals that become a part of this community are no longer just your peers, they are now your sisters and/or brothers.

This spring will be the two-year anniversary of when I went from having zero sisters to 50 plus sisters! I can honestly say that the past two years would have been SO boring without Sigma and my sisters. Sigma has introduced me to some of the most dedicated, hard-working, and loving girls I have ever met. My sisters have taught me the meaning of friendship and sisterhood through all of their unconditional love and support. It is thanks to them and our amazing advisors, Dr. Ravelle and Alyson Remsing, that I am truly getting and making the most out of my college experience.

Along the way, I have learned the importance of leadership and involvement. With many of our sisters being heavily involved in academic programs, volunteer service, varsity sports, and other on-campus organizations, you are presented with several ways to branch out and become more involved along with learning time management skills. Through these experiences and opportunities, you are able to give back to a community that provides you with so much. These opportunities are related to our philanthropy, which is the Robbie Page Memorial Foundation. Each year we host a 5K for the memorial fund which helps create play rooms in hospitals for children who are there for extended periods of time. We also sponsor a local Little League, the Skulls, volunteer at the Autism Walk, and we are often asked to help out at other local events!

I know that the recruitment process can be intimidating and scary, but just remember that the only opinion that matters is your own. I wish you the best of luck and hope you are able to find your home away from home, like I was able to with Sigma.

Ever forward,

Brenna Haddad | Recruitment Director
