Letter from the Recruitment Chair

Hi girls!

My name is Delaney Cross, and I am Sigma Sigma Sigma’s Recruitment Director. I am so happy that you are considering becoming a part of Greek life here at Moravian University. I am looking forward to guiding you through the process. Greek life will give you amazing opportunities, experiences, and unforgettable memories.

This year marks exactly one year since my experience in primary recruitment and I cannot be happier that I found my home. The last year has been one of the most rewarding years of my life. I have been able to have so many leadership opportunities, this being one of them. I have become a hardworking, independent, and loyal woman because of the friendships I have made. Being in Tri Sigma has taught me how to be a true sister. There is nothing like being surrounded by 30 girls who truly respect and love you for who you are. The love in our sisterhood is truly unconditional and is something very important to me. Being a part of Greek Life entails friendship and allows me to be involved on our campus. Greek Week, Homecoming, Powderpuff, and more are some of the many ways Greek Life has involved me. With many of our sisters being a part of varsity sports, academic programs, and different organizations, it makes it easy to branch out.

Some of the most fulfilling experiences so far during my time in Sigma have been those relating to our philanthropy, Sigma Serves Children. The Robbie Page Memorial Fund and March of Dimes give us the opportunity to volunteer and help in any way possible to support children in hospitals and premature babies. As someone majoring in nursing, our philanthropy has a special place in my heart. Many of our sisters are touched by our philanthropy and we love being together supporting children and babies.

I know the recruitment process can be intimidating, but always remember to stay true to yourself and you will find where you belong. Trust the process and trust your gut! I wish you the best of luck and hope you find your way home like I did with Sigma.
